This is the story of a few weeks in November when there were people coming to the office and we were looking for a new office photo.
First, Buzzy Teiser came, in part for a retake (or as I thought enhancement) of previous photos
and then Caroline Ainslee came as a new person on the team
as we were setting the table for lunch with
Nigel Smith (English), Mirjam Kunkler (Near Eastern Studies), Roman Rafikov (Astrophysics), Celeste Nelson (Chemical Engineering), and Philippe Rigollet (Operations Research and Financial Engineering) on one day
and
Janet Downie (Classics), Stacy Wolf (Lewis Center), Lital Levy (Comparative Literature), Frans Pretorius (Physics) and Michael Freedman (Computer Science) the next week.
Next, Kim Jackson came to our senior staff meeting to tell us about parking (most important for the faculty)
and finally we went through the obligatory effort to get an office photo
