One day, Jeff Friedland came to our senior staff meeting for a discussion.
Later that day, I recorded the parts of my structures that might need to be replenished
and the new look for the recent D pennies
and for the older D pennies and for all S pennies.
It being the day before break week, I drove to Lambertville where I ran into DrLen
getting out of his car
and we drove to Frenchtown to get some Coconut Cream Cake
to admire the ice cream cone sign
to get a vanilla donut
and as DrLen ate his coconut cream cake
to admire the ice cream cone sign
and bemoan the dispersion of Small World coffee (support your local everything) to the wider world.
Next we were off to Milford and to the Ship Inn
where DrLen
and I
read the menu
and the details of how they brew
best bitters like these
as we admire their guiding philosophy
and noted the old wood
the bar beyond
the tables
and the brick work.
As DrLen read the philosophy
I tried to sort out this old sign
but then his curry
and my wrap came
with condiments
which were nicely displayed by our waitress who also knew cockney phrases like ``apples and pears'' for a flight of stairs
as she brought my unusual coffee
and then posed for one last picture.
Next we went to the soft ice cream stand in Pennsylvania (so that we could get a free reset)
and celebrated Halloween
happily without dogs
as we overate once more to prepare for our long hibernation into winter.
