We were getting ready for Labor Day and the Brown wedding but first I caught a picture of Noah Manring, the new Associate Dean of SEAS.

A few days later we gathered Ben and Jane and drove to Brooklyn where we were impressed by the bottles Sarah and Ed had accumulated and their hammock not to mention Tommy the cat. Ed and Sarah engaged in conversation with Suzanne as Jane Ben and I watched and I began attempts to get a picture of Ben with a break for Tommy before Jane took up the cause of Ben photos

with a final success followed by a picture of Suzanne a few backlit pictures of Ed and Sarah and many pictures of Tommy

which inspired Ben to pose and after these pictures of Ben and Jane Suzanne and I took the subway to the city to stay at the Four Points Sheraton where our room was unfortunately not ready so we walked north on 7th and came across the Supermac restaurant with this amazing menu of macaroni and cheese variations before settling ina t the Bagel Maven Cafe which pleased Suzanne as we ordered these drinks and this bagel with olive cream cheese spread.

Back at the hotel, we were able to get into our room where the bathroom came with many samples and the first bottle of water was on the house as was the morning coffee. The hotel view was great but soon we had to dress and Suzanne put on her finishing touches in the mirror so that we could head o the wedding and admire the chupah made from the bride's maternal grandmother's wedding dress. The views from the wedding scene of parked trucks close and bridges far and the skylines of New York and New Jersey with a display board and more skyline and the George Washington Bridge in the distance against more New York skyline and parked trucks and trains were beautiful. When it got this dark, we admired the view one last time and decided to call it a night.

The next morning, we headed back to Brooklyn and followed Sarah and Ed to the diner across the street where Sarah Ed Jane Suzanne and I settled in while Ben studied the menu but then Ben decided that the menu was fine and so Ben posed for a few pictures when Sarah and Suzanne got their drinks and we tried various failed experiments with taking group pictures in the mirrors alongside our table.

The food came and the French toast was impressive as were Ben's eggs and the butter for the French toast not to mention the chicken salad sandwiches and my huevos rancheros. The bill came and was paid (tip included) before we got this collection picture from the oddly lighted men's room and headed back to the apartment.

Back at the apartment, Ben, Jane and Sarah amused Tommy as Sarah and Ben got Tommy ready for a toe nail clipping by Sarah which inspired Ben to pose for these pictures before the family began to assemble so that I could join Suzanne, Sarah, Ben and Jane for these family pictures.

On the happily uneventful trip back to Princeton, Jane snapped this picture of the scenery these pictures of Ben and Jane in the backseat and these pictures of the clouds.
