In preparation for renewing my passport, I took these self portraits which convinced me that I should have a professional do it so that I wouldn't look like a terrorist Fortunately I didn't need a passport to go to the Trenton Thunder game, so Ben and I drove to the stadium and sat close enough to have the possibility of sitting on the dugout (but we didn't) but we did watch the people who had thrown out the first ball and then saw the home plate discussion as PSE&G did its pregame ad and we started our bingo cards as the game progressed with the batter ready to swing and the pitcher ready to release while this hot dog came back with Ben and Ben bit in for a few bites before they had the parade of homeless dog and the scoreboard recorded the progress of the Thunder as there was a conference on the mound which this man with the long lens captured as I recorded even more Thunder runs scoring and the sparse crowd before the tug of war and warm birthday wishes which led to the spinning race (everyone's favorite)

until we had a winner so that I could admire my free batting helmet as we came into the 9th inning and watched the no hitter disintegrate when the relief pitcher(s) came in until finally a conference on the mound and more action in the bullpen caused the home plate umpire to create progress and ultimately a Thunder victory that we all celebrated.
