It was moving day for Sarah and Ed so the truck was there along with various cars in the driveway and this was ramp leading to the rear of the truck as Ed (Sr.)'s car was packed beyond its gills and Suzanne was giving Sarah the things that magically appeared at our door when we moved in together. We began with breakfast so I had Uncle Sam's that looked like this and powered me for the truck which was packed full though space still remaied for this plant as Ed packed things in and Ed, Scott and Sarah posed before we could get the final things into the truck

and prepared for the ride into the city. How hard could it be to drive the truck through the Holland Tunnel and across town? Well, a few hours alter, we had a good sense of what tunnels and bridges are open to trucks (information we don't expect to use again) and liked the Manhattan Bridge though we understood traffic very well but as we pulled into the loading dock, we met a group ready to do very fast unloading so that we could head to the apartment and enjoy the view down as things came into the apartment

along with the sandwiches where we thought nayonaise was a misspelling

The last step was to bring the plant into the freight elevator which amused Ben before we grouped with Ed's high school friend for the long trip to return the truck and then returned to see that the partitions were getting installed even as pieces of furniture lay around and bit by bit it started to come together so that we could stare at the fixtures way high in the ceiling and fantasize about levels of furniture and dance floors, etc. After a few more people in the apartment pictures, we decided to venture home where the drive by car made navigating bridges and tunnels much easier.

Back at work, we celebrated Toni's forthcoming wedding one day I visited with Sam Hynes and Mike Keeley the next and we celebrated the birthdays of Jon Cohen and Mary Baum the third day

On the weekend, I met this jeweler who informed me that my T shirt (about throwing away the first 10,000 photos) was correct and so back at work, I took this picture of Steve Blechman of HR which I could keep having passed the 10K mark.
