I was in DC and forgot to record my pictures so that on my return, I couldn't go out to the ball game until I processed this picture of my lunch at the train station restaurant
and this picture of the tablecloth.
That work done, I returned to have a meeting with Laszlo Trankovits of the German Press Agency
and then, we could celebrate the next-to-last day of school by going out to the ball game
where grounds crew
were cleaning the field at 33 minutes to game time
and the water
inspired the other needed part of a ball game -- the hot dog
which Ben displayed
with French fries
and then bit into
leaving visible change
as Jane had his drink
and Suzanne
bit into her hot dog
as Sarah ate a French fry
and the watering continued
through my self portraits
It was award time for the little league of Levittown, first the green team
then the black team
and finally the red team
during which time Fred, Andrew and Lucy arrived and posed for pictures
as I studied my bingo card
and the crowds of first ball pitchers arrived
as some of the Cranbury gentlemen arrived to fill our section
What we were all waiting for was for the singing group to emerge
