It was time for the P-Rade though before we could go to the P-rade, Ben and I had to get haircuts so that we could meet W and pose with him before coming home to see the orange vases and flowers Suzanne had gotten in her attempt to become one of the orange and black. The table was set and the folding chairs had arrived and were settled below the orange plates but it didn't look like a day for a parade of any sort so I took a self portrait (in my orange and black) and one last flower picture before we headed out to find the class of 2006 who were blocked by Dem Stars Steel Orchestra even as they aimed for class unity

but soon Sarah emerged and came to visit displaying her beer jacket and delivering a can of beer so that we could pose together before she posed in her jacket and then went back to join her classmates

as the class of 1925 went by led by the man with the special cane and his classmate George Washington which gave way to the class of 1932 with the beer drinking fellow who amused the young'uns as 1934 and 1935 followed and then came 1936 who came back for their 70th looking well and proud as they rode by before 1937 came and amused Ben with their Roman numerals. They were followed by 1938 1939 1940 1941 1942 1943 1944 1945 and 1946 before the family of the math major bound for Caltech posed and we watched 1947 with their entertainment 1948 with their dogs 1949 and 1950 and 1951 (where I somehow missed the sign) with David Billington and their bagpipers gave way to 1952 with Hal Saunders and 1954 with Anne Marie Slaughter 1955 and 1956 with their band and sexy outfits obelisk and troups marching to their 50th before the arrival of 1957 1958 1959 1960 and 1961 with their unusual sign and their sign which we all agreed was the best in the P-Rade soon to be followed by 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1970 again 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 (not very straight) and a quick view of our sidewalk as my aim was failing with the decaying battery before 1976 came for their 30th followed by 1977 1978 1979 1980 with their banner of pride before the grad school alumni came led by Bill Russel and gave way to 1982 1983 1984 and 1985 with this spurious picture before 1986 came and Tom Kessler stopped to talk so that I didn't get back to photos until 1991 -- the class that decided to not go orange and black to Ben's amusement as 1992 arrived followed by 1993 1994 1995 and 1996 which came en masse

before giving way to 1997 1998 1999 and 2000 before 2001 arrived with their band followed by 2002 celebrating the demise of the Nude Olympics where the jugglers came out and Julia joined as we observed the parade heating up and so moved to a venue where we could see Andrew Black before the classes of 2003 2004 and 2005

passed by and we caught a glimmer and increasingly more signs of 2006

before the big sign came followed by Ed and Sarah and the rest of the class gave way to the banana which must have some significance as the signs continued and we made our way to Poe field to capture Sarah and Ed not to mention Sarah's muddy feet (and shoes). After the obligatory pictures of Sarah with friends Scott Elmegreen '07, Allison Squires '06, Ed, Sarah, Amv and Ben Mains and Sarah with Chioma Ihunnah we headed home for a pizza dinner.
