It was the first days of a new camera, so I had to test it out. On THursday, Suzanne seemed bored until I noted the passage of time which amused Suzanne as Ben moved out of the frame leaving me with a white background as Jane relaxed and Ben eventually got Jane going as I took a close up of the chess board and then varying levels of zoom on Ben who was working on his project/game even as I tested to see if I could record the thermostat across the room (which was at 64 degrees) though this didn't seem to amuse Ben as I took this closeup and then recorded my toes and a few more pictures of Ben at work and the computer screen which seemed to get Ben amused as I checked out the bookcase across the room and the reflections on the floor before doing a series of pictures of Ben

which returned me to pictures of my toes then back to the plug in the wall across the room Ben the computer screen and my toes which made me wonder about self portraits amid a crisp picture of the chessboard and marker combination.

The next day, I brought the camera when picking Ben up at school and took a few pictures while waiting for the traffic to move through the green light at the corner of WItherspoon and Nassau as people crossed and Hamilton jewelers loomed and we saw one of the orange and black people crossing Nassau along with a member of the about to be great class of 2006 even as we passed Design within Reach (of who) and saw that the camera took good pictures of the car clock.

Once at home, we found John and Jane and recorded the game that Ben had made the night before (amid many photos) and then a picture of Ben counting his lollypops. before Jane Suzanne John Ben (incognito) and I headed off to On The Border for dinner at too high a speed before the chips and the light settled us in so that Jane John and Ben could pose with my margaritta and Ben's iced tea and even more chips that puckered Jane's face as our main courses came

before we headed off to Ben's trumpet concert where the principals were beginning to assemble to Flora's delight as they studied music and Suzanne Ben and Jane were enjoying the moment as Flora took to the trumpet and the group played on

before Flora called Ben up and they played a duet

but our focus was on Ben (a boy and his horn)

though when te group reassembled, he was part of it and they took turns playing and here is how Ben looked as he played on
