It was a beautiful spring day, the taxes were done, so we went to the ball game. Along the way we saw this dead bird and then we saw the park looming larger as this woman sold us our tickets and we went to see batting practice (after a fashion) while Ben enjoyed his hot dog and the cotton candy man was passing by as batting practice continued to amuse me in this self portrait while Boomer took the field above the dugout and the rules were set as I captured a few stadium shots before Ben returned with some cracker jack (tradition and all) and ice cream (yet another tradition) as we watched the game progress even as the bat race and the race in balls were being set up to distract us from a bad ball game. On the way out, we watched this picture being taken before Ben sat with the All Stars

The next day was Easter Sunday and so after the hoop lured Ben into his final shot Jane and Suzanne joined us for the walk past the construction signs and into town where we first paused to see the egg hunt at Trinity Church Episcopal where we ran into Joe Studholme '81 an then to the rival Nassau Presbytarian church where we saw Dave Davis before running into Frank Calaprice and taking the obligatory phone booth picture (though Superman was limited in his changing ability) as we kept walking but street crossing was slow for some until we reached Barbara Boggs Sigmund Park and then made our way to PJs where we could see them make pancakes through the window before Suzanne studied the menu with Jane and I tried various elf portraits

before deciding that the light was bad and using the flash for this picture of Jane and Suzanne and these of Ben and me as the chocolate milk and coffee arrived and the oatmeal looked better sans flash along with the various pancake dishes that were eaten and enjoyed before we stopped at the shoe store where 10% off seemed to extend to the sign and recording the Kramer's brick and wishing the wedding people well before running into Lucy and Fred who were at the site of the squirrels

Once at home, Jane modeled her dress and all were happy

Next, I was back to work and hosting lunch for Thanos Panagiotopoulos (Chemical Engineering), Deborah Nord (English), Manuel Llinas (Molecular Biology), Viviana Zelizer (Sociology and Stengel, Robert and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering), Jon Cohen (Psychology), Steven Mackey (Music)

What better way to start Sarah's birthday than with a meeting with Cornel West and Al Raboteau from Religion and then another with Andrew Kane from housing before coming home to see the table set and taking Jane to vote for her first time (and we gave Sarah many gifts in the write-in category).

Back at home, We arrived with the birthday girl who finally looked at the camera and Nicole Haston while Jane and Jane and Ben posed before we sat at the table and celebrated Sarah as the Princetonians were on one side of the table and Ben on the other with decorations views of Sarah and the table the balloons as Sarah got ready for the cake and masterfully blew out the candles

which amused Ben as Sarah cleaned the candles and then I got this piece of cake which I slow digested as the tea came and Sarah absorbed her gifts

as Jane did the hat in eye things Sarah kept celebrating Jane kept doing the hat in eye trick but ultimately, it was about Sarah and the decorations as Sarah opened her new toothbrush Jane took the phone call Sarah finished the presents and we were treated to the hidden under the hat tricks before calling it a wonderful birthday
