It was the afternoon of the first evening of Passover and so we had to start thinking about a Seder as we had recorded in

2002
2003
2004

But first, Ben and I continued on our project to get pictures of all of the paperweights by adding these

to the collection before I peeled the apples leaving these ruins in the disposal and added the carrot to the coup as Suzanne saluted with her cast and we began the Cuis-ing with added wine and another set of quick pulses and a stir until we had charoset you would want to eat.

Next Harry Cummins stopped by to drop off Sam and Ben gave his birthday present and even in the second take couldn't keep his eyes opened.

Jane and I headed off to Staples among other errands but got caught in traffic by this beautiful tree behind this car that ever so slowly brought us along the cemetery until this crossing guard finally got things going for us.

Back at home, the food was cooking the table was set with the new vase Suzanne had gotten and the 3 matzot were ready to go as we admired the horseradish root and the special olive oil that we knew not to use for cooking as Ann told us about life in New York and Jane admired the matzah and macaroons Ann had brought while Ben went out and brought in the mail. Sarah and Devon arrived and started melting chocolate for the strawberries while we pulled out this cheese which appeared better sans flash and opened it for tasting. Ben emerged and we left the matzah ball soup aside and headed to the table where we read from the haggadah ( No, Ben is not asleep ) and then had chicken as a main course as the table flowed with food and my plate grew from this to this even as Jane was clearing her plate and Ben was practicing with the juggling balls he got even as he was unable to keep them in the air.

For dessert, we had macaroons and fruit and after admiring the dirty plates in the dishwasher we brought out the chocolate cake and chocolate covered strawberries so that my dessert plate could look like this as Suzanne ate at the opposite end of the table and we took the required pictures of Jane's foot for posterity. Next, Sarah produced her old and new driver's licenses for all to admire (though the camera did not do a good job) and Jane took this sequence of pictures of Suzanne and I in our Egyptian garb

so that we too could feel that with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm we too were brought out from Egypt.
