A number of things happened in the days leading up to Hallowe'en which were recorded. Marilyn Marks came to chat and then Jane and I found these shoes hanging over power lines after which Leah Targone took these pictures of the office staff all of which led to the celebration of Marsha Gilman's years at Princeton

and a meeting with Craig Richmond before the Hallowe'en spirit landed on Nassau Street and we had an office lunch to celebrate Sunny after which Chris Vitale and David Wirth from OIT brought these important devices and I had a faculty lunch with Left to Right: Edgar Choueiri (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering), Susan Stewart (English), Jonathan Eggenschwiler (Molecular Biology), Gillian Knapp (Astrophysics), Christopher Achen (Politics), David Wood (Chemical Engineering), Cecilia Rouse (Economics and Woodrow Wilson School).

Now we were ready for Hallowe'en. So, Ben's costume was made and tried on so that we could say hello to Seva on our way to the bus stop where we saw Emily K and her dad as the walkers went by and Leong and his daughter arrived to join Emily K and Emily and John Shea while the bus appeared.

We were then off to the parade at JP. Brian Blount and Leong Seouw were there which amused Suzanne as did the little tiger so that the parade could begin. Dr. Ginsburg appeared as did Carol Alter and the first marchers who kept passing by until we caught sight of some fifth graders

and we finally saw Ben as others marched by including Sponge Bob as Ben and his friends

watched. The parade continued

until the Queen of Hearts passed along with more paraders

until the presidential candidates appeared along with the Hershey's lady and more paraders

until Ben and his friends marched by and after a little more parade

we saw the Sponge Bob people and some others and then zeroed in on Joel and Ben and his team to the amusement of Laura Ash as Suzanne posed with Dr. G as Wayne Meisel took this picture of us so that we could head off to lunch with Martha.

The maitre d' took our orders and we sat down to soup and tea as Suzanne Sarah and Martha checked out the drink and Martha looked at my profile as the sandwiches and salad arrived and then some dessert dippables and a piece of pie got eaten as Suzanne and Sarah posed with a final good picture of Sarah as the men at the adjoining table discussed the forthcoming election. We then got into my car and drove on to the Dollar Planet and Blockbuster before we were ready to say a final Trick or Treat.
