In orer to get ready for the party for the chairs, it was necessary to
take a few pictures and get back in the habit.
I began with Camilo Azcarate,
the University's Ombuds Officer.
The next day, Herman Ermolaev
from the Slavic Languages and Literature Department and Abraham Udovitch
from Near Eastern Studies came to visit.
All of this made me ready to have the table cleared
some flowers
and candy corn
arrive along with many flowers
which looked good
and fine napkins
not to mention the mums
that graced our entryway
and lots of furniture
some of which let us organize my study
while the dining room table
was ready to be set.
Meanwhile, Jane And Fred
were in her room and Ben was on the second floor
as the apple bags
were set up. We took the group pictures with ChefRob
who brought shrimp galore
and the tomato dish
and hummus
and lots of berries
for decoration as the kids posed with Risa
who was going to supervise the event. The chocolate covered fruit
and desserts
were being organized by these nice people
as the crudite
was ready to go and the table
was getting ready. Progress continued in the kitchen
as the cheeses adorned the table
and Ben
enjoyed the animals
in the study. There was some drizzling
as the shrimp
were getting ready and the bar
was being set. Against this backdrop
Sara arrived
and Jane showed the hole in her knee
which has a long and tragic story of a walk to Rosie's house. The bar
appealed to Suzanne
and the table
and crudite
made ChefRob
feel like showing his wares
as the shrimp appeared
and the name cards with
and sans
flash. After a final record of the food
desserts
hummus
shrimp
candy (don't bite hard)
bruschetta
yin and yang background for the passed hors de ouveres
hummus
and dead animal
unwrapped
I admired how ChefRob
takes his own pictures and then captured pictures of Peter Jaffe
Peter Ramadge
Erhan Cinlar
Simon Levin
and Erhan again
to complete my album of chairs.
