It was Christmas day in Princeton. We had many things planned but began the
day with a visit to TASK, the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, where I took
no pictures.
We then came home and observed Jane's wound
which seemed to be healing as the pistachio nut shells
that Suzanne
had eaten accumulated. Next we went to the Mulvey's and posed for a
family portrait outside their door.
Once inside, Laurie served lemon brownies
and a beautiful cheese plate.
Fay Greenbaum
previously of Sarah Lawrence class of 1974 was there as was Laurie's mother,
Dorothy.
This new camera
was John's
Christmas gift as Laurie
noted. I took this picture of Sarah and Claire
as he did the same
though I don't have the result of his photography. Lizzie
came by and posed with her grandmother
as Johnny and Benjamin
played NBA Street Smart as Jane
watched their game
and the adornments on Claire's wall
especially this one
which I particularly enjoyed. After taking a few pictures for
the Sarah Lawrence alumni news (class of '74)
we headed off in the sunset to our next obligation.
Here we are at the Feinstein's door
getting ready to ring the bell. Once inside, Benjamin captured these pictures
of Peter Kramer blocking the bag from a fast flurry of
jabs and hooks
and the stationary bag
taking a rest.
The after dinner crowd was a little sedate with Rory needing to tie his shoe
(or maybe he was embarrassed by his recent indictment?)
while Peter
Brian
Richard
and Michael
looked on.
Everyone came to life when we did the blue light experiments (which we would
not want to do in KMart) starting with the basic illumination
and then doing Peter's face,
my face
and Sarah's ear
before letting Sarah
take the keys away for her journey to see the Princeton opening
of A Beautiful Mind.
Our parting wish for all is that all your Christmases be bright!!
