It all began when I decided to see how many pictures I could take on a low battery before it dies. Since Jane was sitting next to me, she became the subject and this was the result

This was all on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and Ben and Joel were bowling and catching Meanwhile, Suzanne put this food out for Amy Serik and listened to the details of Amy's life and her life in the 1st grade.

Meanwhile, the Mac and Chack that Jane was preparing was almost ready for Ben and Joel their food was served who had become bowling pin warriors. Luncheon was served and the hungry boys ate as we recorded their drinks -- back front with flash back without flash and a clementine before Suzanne and Amy posed for departure pictures. By now the boys were engrossed in a boxing match shielded by beanie babies and Suzanne was drinking her water as Ben pondered the week ahead.

On Wednesday, the day before game day, we looked through the screen door to find a car with some snow on it but still went to school to see the large pot of soup the kids in Ms. Blumenshine's class had made. I served this bowl as the kids sat down and Anna and Ben posed for the camera while Devin made a goony face and then a nice one for me to record as Stephanie Klockenbrink finally looked up at the camera but Kurren didn't to the amusement of Ms. Hicks (ESL teacher) who then passed out muffins as spoons were passed to Andy Ie's grandparents who had arrived and were chatting with Ms. Hunter (Science) and Ms. Bluemnshine, Ben's teacher as the kids gathered and then formed the dumpling line before returning to the feast where Megan posed and then Benjamin sat then looked up then stood up so that I could get my pictures and the final table picture that went with the muffins as a game of bug house started up and I headed for home where these pies were delivered by Sara Just for the next day's feast. Jane came home from school excited having gotten the right count of the number of Swedish fish in the bag. So we decided to celebrate by going to a movie and this was our view driving back up Witherspoon street of the road ahead and our meters in the car. Sarah came home for the holiday and we served con queso dip as Jane admired the pasta which looked better without flash and was accompanied by a fruit plate the leftover Mexican dish and lettuce all getting us ready for a good sleep before the game.

It was Thanksgiving Day, the day of the big game. We checked the ball and got the pump ready to add air as Benjamin ate his CTC to be ready for the game and the menorahs reminded us of the holiday to come as I shunned Swedish fish for a cup of coffee as we made a list of potential attendees and played the Thanksgiving game that Ben and Mary Lynn had created. Suzanne had her breakfast which roused Sarah a little bit though Benjamin needed no boost to get ready fro the game and I had my warmest socks protecting my kicking toes. We marveled at the charicature of Sarah as Ben Jane and Sarah welcomed Nathaniel who threw the long pass to Benjamin as the boys posed for the highlights tape before finishing the pre-game drills and getting ready for the kickoff of the main event.

Jane and Sarah were watching the parade and perhaps a little less ready as Suzanne got a top and some bread and toasted as Nathaniel and Ben played virtual football as the toast popped and the spreading led to this appetizing meal though Benjamin and Nathaniel were back to tackling drills as this leaf marked the time and there was time to diagram one last play before Sarah joined us for the march to the game where we met Will and Steffi and Jenna and Tony and his brother-in-law who is named for a character in Harry Potter, but I forget which. The Justs arrived with Oliver.

At this point, it was time to record shots of the actual game

as was well done by Ross's sister

After the game, Suzanne posed as did the teams before we gathered for the group pictures without and then with me (thanks to Ross Wagner for these).

Back at home, the kitchen had crowds waiting for the hot chocolate and pop corn before the gang on the couch insisted on taking this picture of me to the amusement of Lizzie and Sarah and Johnny and Benjamin went at PS/2 and Suzanne wondered what Matt and Jane were discussing.

Benjamin and Sarah were watching cartoons as Jon and Jane were playing this game and the video went unwatched as Sarah came down the stairs to say good bye to Jon and we all got dressed in our finery. Benjamin and the girls and then the women posed before Benjamin did his shoes and Sarah got ready for the trip to the Mulvey's where we all waited at the front door as we had done before. Once inside, we admired the beautiful table setting as Jane Sarah and Suzanne admired the hors de ouvers and then the girls and Ben said hello to the turkey and soup as John worked to make other parts of the dinner including the salad before bring out his camera as Suzanne was amused by either the squash covered by poetry of the broccoli and grapes that seemed to be amusing Lizzie as the dinner in all its glory -- cheese and tomatoes fruit salad cranberry salad pie other pie other cranberries etc. was being brought to the table where this was Ben's plate and yet another dish as Suzanne and the girls and my side of the table enjoyed the flowers as Sarah and Claire and Johnny pondered the wine and even more food appeared on the buffet for people passing through the line making this plate and this one and Lizzie had this one and Jane had this as Benjamin Vigdas Johnny and Claire admired my plate which got emptied so that I could go back and sample the desserts

putting together this plate which looked better sans flash.

Jane and her English project team were recreating Chutes and Ladders as Homer would have done it as Sarah was making phone calls while Joyce Lily and Noah (the original man with the ark) were eyeing the cider as Jess arrived and came in followed by Ben from PU. Gentle viewer, be advised that by this point I was long gone to see the movie 8 Crazy Nights with Benjamin (which was not as good as 8 Mile) and you are viewed the work of other photographers in this section .

The evil frisbee met the cookie dough as the oven pre-heated and the gang gathered while the menorah stood guard for even more arrivals -- Jessie Sarah and Ben all of whom go to Princeton and so can read this and tell what time it is. The gang moved in various directions as cars arrived and the food appeared to amuse them

including Maggie who took all of the pictures except this one which is not a self portrait and even captured the glass from which Claire was probably going to drink as the group continued

to do whatever it was they were doing until I got home and took back the camera to record the last moves of the game and Josephine as she got the table ready as Benjamin played on the computer and the older kids continued to develop their game board while the oldest kids milled around

though Benjamin was hiding from the television as the group reconfigured Sarah and Lily admired the table but not to the exclusion of the phone as Noah and Alex posed and kids gathered where Benjamin and Suzanne were welcoming Jane, Fred and Lissie and food preparations including applesauce were ready when Robbie George arrived to see the latke batter and the condiments as the menorah waited and the latkes stayed warm until served to those assembled

as Suzanne let them also enjoy other foods including this plate prepared for Jon Huang which may have made him happier. Rachel Weiss arrived to see my plate as the eating continued to Rachel's amusement of my next plate and finally we could look at Jon Huang and decide if his dinner had made him happier ( gentle viewer this is for you to decide ).

As the dishes went into the dishwasher the assembled played dreidel amidst dried fruit pastry and chocolate as the candle lighting

proceeded to the amusement of Sarah's friends as the LL Bean package was slowly opened and Benjamin read his story behind the story which was proper Feng Shui as we now could know along with Sarah's new sweater Jane's necklace my shirts and Suzanne's reading of the instructions for Ben's game as the next present had a letter of explanation and the watch in the gold box was opened even though we knew the time as the globe told us our location and some friends prepared to leave.

The next day as we pondered the kitchen the door bell rang but Steven had to stay outside with Oliver who didn't fit onto our globe even as we finished the penny project and recorded these views of the histogram before going to the Just's house for another celebration of Hannukah where Peter where Peter greeted us.
