Jane had to do a project for Civics so she took a poll on how many people believe we should switch to the metric system.

October 12, 2001 as told by Sarah. Today was Class Spirit Day at Princeton High School. Being a senior, and the class president no less, I was particularly excited about the anticipated pep rally. Claire decided last night that we should get to school incredibly early, 7:15 AM even, so that we could see what our classmates had done for the senior prank, since we had nothing to do with it. Yet, at 7:10, when she was already 5 minutes late, Claire had still not arrived to pick me up as I tried, but failed miserably, to document. Finally Claire showed up and we drove down Nassau Street, under a foggy air and a cloud-streaked sky so that we could get to Joyce's house where Joyce was waiting eagerly. We got to the school a little later than expected, but didn't realize that parking would be a problem since the Old Senior Lot was still blocked off from the painting. We usually like to arrive inconspicuously to give Claire a chance to park her massive Impala or in other words, a type of African Gazelle or Antelope depending on whom you believe... To our great chagrin, the Senior Girls who had purchased "Senior Girls '02" t-shirts were already congregated, all, of course, wearing their aforementioned shirts. Claire, Joyce, and I had chosen not to participate for reasons better off left unmentioned. We did take this opportunity to dress ourselves up in green and gold ribbon and gold glitter like the rest of the crowd. Even though they had already cleaned up the Senior Prank, we ran over to the front of the school to observe the genius of Andrew Hood. The painting of the Old Senior Lot turned out pretty well (in case you can't tell, it's a picture of the yellow brick road to the Emerald City - our colors are green and gold, if you hadn't realized yet) and if you look closely enough you can see the nearly-fatal risk I took in expressing my creativity.

While waiting for Jess's mom at the back of the school, I decided to take some pictures of the lovely foliage and an attempt to capture the secret clock on the roof which no one else seems to believe is really a clock.
