Now it was time for Jane's prom. She got her hair done fancy in the back and then they added color to her even in closeup and from the back. Her nails looked good as well.

All of this inspired Benjamin to get out the basketball dribble and get ready to shoot at which point he decided to go outside and scout out the hoop as his shot went up came towards the rim and went in for the game winner. I'll let you, gentle viewer, decide if these shots are in sequence ...

Next Jane posed in her prom dress while Ben and Sarah consulted this catalog for possible accessories since it was a Hawaiian theme. She posed a few more times which didn't distract Benjamin from building Lego soccer

Then Fred arrived and in our confusion we took this picture of Fred and Sarah while Jane watched by the chess board.

The camera battery died as I recorded Cindy George so I took this second shot before going back to pictures of the girls

and this final shot of the proud mothers before they left for the dance.

Next morning, I went to get Jane at Lucy's which was showing signs of wear as Kaylen slept lying down, Jane and Lucy slept sitting up and Rosie smiled undoubtedly because the phone worked.

Back at home, Sarah joined with Claire to prepare for Juliana's graduation.

After a while, Bill and Martha arrived to go out to dinner while Jane stayed home to babysit. First we took this group photo and then this candid and these pictures of Martha reacting to the news of the 7th graders much to Jane's great amusement. After a little more conversation and a more normal picture of Martha we went off to dinner.

When we got back, I did some experiments with the digital zoom capturing Ben Sarah Martha Bill (in profile) the chess board and Suzanne before Claire and Jess and Fanny and the lineup got me back to regular zoom'ing.

Sunday was the flute concert as Jane posed with her teacher and then Rachel joined First the flautists gathered and the programs appeared and then there were warmups including Jane (in out of focus, digital zoom) and then the teacher welcomed everyone and showed the food you get if you last through the concert and the piano player and then introduced the first player who was 5 all in the Bedford lecture hall.

Eventually, it was Jane's turn to tune and get going at more digital and even more digital zooming.

Jane played away for her proud mother but some in the audience had more important things to do. We left after the piece to take Jane to the choir party where we ran into Daniel Suo.
