It was the beginning of Mother's Day weekend. We began by going to
the art and music show at Johnson Park. There hanging from the ceiling
was Benjamin's butterfly
and then we marched on
to admire the 5th grade people
this optimistic note
from Ms. Bender's class and this tribute
to touch typing.
Saturday morning, Suzanne struggled at Benjamin's feet
as he hid
to ultimately get Benjamin's soccer shoes on.
Jane and Kaylen
continued to have their online experience as I heard my shoes
calling to me so that we could go to the soccer game.
Naomi and Claire were at the soccer game happy to pose

After soccer, we returned home where we saw these
beautiful remnants
of Jane's breakfast and prepared this
vaguely unhealthy food for Benjamin's lunch which looked
good
especially when we centered the picture
in the frame. After the obligatory picture of the
Capri Sun container
in front of the PopCorn bowl, we watched Sarah teach
Kaylen some math
and recorded Kaylen's work
for all to check. For her good works, we wanted
to be sure that Kaylen would
Forget-AllOfUs-Not and so gave her the seeds.
Next we gathered Jane and Kaylen
to drop them off at the mall
so that we could take these before

After picking up Jane and Kaylen, we did our
traveling movie
as we passed through the stop sign
along the road
to Kaylen's house. Unfortunately, our battery
died so that we couldn't capture Chris mowing his lawn.
