It was a busy weekend. The weather was very cooperative and there were many things planned. I took Benjamin to soccer where he got his new team shirt and got ready to play as the other parents watched the game. And the coaches got them revved for action in a game that they were to win 3-0.

Next we went to Panera for lunch. Benjamin had the turkey sandwich which he really enjoyed and I had cappuchino with my sprout sandwich all at a reasonable price.

We came back home and picked up Sarah and followed this car through the traffic until we could leave Sarah and Joyce off at Macy's.

We then headed back to the car wash which had already started with the girls trying to lure in customers We gave him our five dollars and got in line. Jane was there as were Kaylen and her mother and father They got started on our car while Cindy George watched and Caroline Williams drove up while Jane and Kaylen had their lunch

Next, Jan Woods arrived in the 70 PEDE causing Lucy great joy. All this while, there was progress on the Honda

even though Chris sometimes was washing people's shoes The car has never seen this much soap Kaylen celebrated the new shine on the car as the crowd cheered and we headed off to the drying station Our final stop was at McCaffery's where Fernando rang us up while Joe bagged our groceries.

We waited until Sunday to start eating the food from McCaffery's. Benjamin and Jane had bagels and Suzanne settled for Poland Springs. We still had remnants of the celebration and a clean car so Suzanne was ready to climb aboard for the trip to Parking Space 368 where we paid for parking but couldn't read the ticket screen in the glare, so we approached the station where this woman asked that I not take her picture. (Sorry!!!)

We looked down the track to see if a train was coming, but we were in for a little longer until the sign started to blink and we could get into this car to travel past through Penn Station in Newark until we finally got off at Penn Station in New York.

Dick and Fran were there so we walked down to the village to watch the chess games and be inspired by Gandhi on our way to the world's most famous schoolyard basketball court We stopped for a drink and this gentleman was kind enough to take our pictures as we drank our lemonade and iced coffee (sic tea) Paige arrived and I went to explore the bath room to see the signs Francine had recommended. Then we made our way to the restaurant Paige had found and entered happily. The dinner party were Dick Suzanne Paige Francine and David. The wine was very good as were the antipasti and the pasta dishes not to mention the main courses

and the desserts I drank my decaf cappuccino went to the station and found my train

Another weekend done.
