Benjamin did his transportation report on the DWOK
quite a fighting weapon of the second world war. He conceived the design
building the body from paper towel rolls and the wings, etc. from toilet
paper rolls. Here he poses with his creation
Before we knew it, it was my birthday. Josephine cooked dinner and
insisted that it was Mexican night. The kids got me Sponge Bob
Square Pants, my favorite! So, it was quite jolly when the candles were
lit
the decorations were set (with the traffic light installed!)
and Jane,
Suzanne,
John Byers,
Benjamin,
and Meredith
each sang a different song to the birthday boy as he huffed and puffed
and blew out all of the candles
which is no mean feat at this age.
The next day, Benjamin wasn't feeling well and so stayed home from
school. On the way to taking him to Rider to hang out with Suzanne in the
afternoon, we paused at the Lawrenceville post office for the
obligatory phone booth picture
and then I dropped him off with Suzanne for the afternoon
though it took 2 pictures to do the transition.
Next thing we knew it was time to set the tables
